Stop the worst “Covid judge” in America
The Biden administration has nominated Lucy Koh for the 9th circuit, and she must be stopped. She maliciously targeted churches in California, keeping them locked down, even as bars, hair salons, and other businesses were open. She is anti-religious freedom, and has no regard for the Constitution. We do not need yet another crazy, radical judge on the 9th circuit. Please take the following action this week to stop her nominating process.
For both of your US Senators, please do the following:
• Call the DC office (Find your Senators’ numbers here.)
• Call one local/state office – to find one of the local office numbers, go to the home page of your Senator’s official government website (through the link above), and they’re usually listed under “offices” or “office locations,” though sometimes you have to go to the “contact” page first.
• Message: Oppose the nomination and confirmation of Lucy Koh to the 9th She has proven herself to be an activist and an extremist. She will not faithfully apply the law, as shown by her rulings on churches and lockdowns during Covid. She is anti-First Amendment and you must oppose her advancement.
Watch this video of Sen. Ted Cruz questioning Lucy Koh.
If your Senator is listed below, when you call, add a “thank you” for asking Koh tough questions during a hearing last week. We know that there are problems with some of these Senators, but we have to use carrots and sticks to push them in the right direction. This is an opportunity to offer a carrot.
• Chuck Grassley
• Lindsay Graham
• John Cornyn
• Mike Lee
• Ted Cruz
• Ben Sasse
• Josh Hawley
• Tom Cotton
• John Kennedy
• Thom Tillis
• Marsha Blackburn
Every year on the Fourth of July, we gather for cookouts, fireworks, parades, and family celebrations.
And we should.
America’s birthday is worth celebrating.
But somewhere between the burgers and the fireworks, it’s important to remember what we’re actually celebrating.
Freedom.
Not comfort.
Not convenience.
Freedom.
The freedom to speak our minds.
The freedom to worship as we choose.
The freedom to build a life according to our own values.
The freedom to disagree.
The freedom to dream.
The freedom to fail and try again.
None of those freedoms happened by accident.
And none of them came without sacrifice.
Generations of Americans have served, fought, worked, struggled, and sacrificed to preserve the liberties we often take for granted.
Some paid with years of their lives.
Some paid with their health.
Some paid the ultimate price.
That’s why I believe Independence Day should be more than a party.
It should also be a reminder.
Because freedom isn’t something you inherit and forget about.
It’s something you protect.
Something you value.
Something you refuse...
We all know why the democrats won't be voting for this act! That would mean they would vote themselves out of money, power and a job! None of them could ever make the money they are stealing from the American tax payers. Most of them are not smart enough to land a legit job!!! The truth hurts!
